明末山人尺牍集的编刊及其文献价值

摘　　要：明末山人以尺牍相标榜,山人编著尺牍成为时代风气。然与此形成鲜明反差,绝大多数的山人尺牍别集已罕见流传。知名山人王穉登是富有典型性的个案,本文通过对其尺牍集谱系的梳理,从多个侧面呈现山人的尺牍文体实践活动。此外,尺牍总集也是这一文体流传的主要方式,山人在此编刊热潮中发挥主导作用,开创尺牍文学新传统,这与该群体的出版从业背景密切相关。结合史籍相关记述及邓志谟、许以忠等个案研究,本文在廓清多部同类书籍之间错综复杂关系的基础之上,进一步揭示尺牍总集成书的动态过程与文献特征。尺牍文献的结构性研究,冀望对文史领域中作为史料的尺牍文献之可靠性评估有所帮助,还能为尺牍文体研究提供层次丰富的文本网络,促成其研究范式的转变并取得新进展。In the late Ming dynasty,hermits built connections and flaunted their friendship with someone through letters(尺牍),compiling and publishing epistolary collections became a prevalent practice among them.However,in sharp contrast to that,the majority of hermits'epistolary collections have become rare and scarce.Renowned hermit Wang Zhideng(王穉登)stands as a typical example.This paper delves into the lineage of Wang's epistolary collections,presenting the practical activities of hermits in the realm of epistolary writing from various perspectives.Furthermore,the compilation of comprehensive epistolary collections served as the primary method for the dissemination of this literary form,with hermits taking a leading role in this editorial fervor,thereby initiating a new tradition in epistolary literature.This phenomenon is closely intertwined with the publishing background of this group.In association with the relevant historical records and the case studies of Deng Zhimo(邓志谟)and Xu Yizhong(许以忠),this paper not only untangles the intricate relationships among various similar publications but also sheds light on the dynamic processes and literary characteristics of compiling epistolary collections.Through a structural analysis of epistolary literature,this paper aims to aid in assessing the reliability of epistolary documents as historical sources,provide a rich textual network for the study of epistolary genre,and facilitate a shift in research paradigms leading to new advancements.
