摘　　要：在《混乱世界下的博物馆:再造、无关或衰败》中,简斯剖析了博物馆在全球化与消费主义冲击下所面临的困境与变革的可能性。随着市场中心主义的蔓延和权力的高度集中,博物馆正在远离其服务社会的初衷,沦为市场经济和内部事务的俘虏。博物馆需要突破传统角色限制,转变为自然与文化的管理者。以“弹性”和“观想”为基础的管理能力将成为博物馆未来发展的关键。简斯的见解不仅与北美博物馆的现实紧密相关,也可以与中国博物馆界的读者产生经验共鸣,并为之提供新的视角和思路。In his book Museums in a Troubled World:Renewal,Irrelevance or Collapse,Robert R.Janes profoundly analyzes the predicaments and potential transformations museums are facing under the impact of globalization and consumerism.With the spread of market ideology and the high concentration of power,museums are gradually straying from their original purpose of serving society,becoming captives of the market economy and internal affairs.Museums need to break through the boundaries of their traditional roles and transform into stewards of nature and culture.The management capabilities based on“resilience”and“mindfulness”will become the key to museums future development.Janes insights are not only closely related to the reality of museums in North America but could also resonate with the experiences of readers in China s museum community,providing them with new perspectives and ideas.
