摘 要:通过探索石英砂颗粒尺寸对中性硼硅酸盐配合料熔化和澄清的影响,详细研究了配合料熔化过程中的固相反应、晶型转变以及石英颗粒的溶解行为,以及最终的澄清效果。结果表明,含量最多的石英砂颗粒尺寸对配合料的熔化有重要影响,进而决定着玻璃的澄清效果。具体地,石英砂颗粒较小的配合料因其较高的比表面积,在升温过程中会形成更多的低黏度玻璃液,固相反应更加充分,石英颗粒的溶解速度也越快,同时导致更多气体被玻璃液捕获而形成气泡,进而促进了玻璃液的澄清。In this work,the effect of size of quartz on the melting and fining behaviors of borosilicate glasses was studied.In particular,solid-state reaction,polymorph transformation,dissolution behavior of quartz particles during the melting process,were explored,along with the final fining effect.It is demonstrated that the size of the quartz has a significant impact on melting behaviors of the samples,which in turn influenced the fining effect of the resulting glasses.In details,for the mixture with smaller quartz particles,formation of low-viscosity glass liquid and solid-phase reaction easily took place,due to its higher specific surface area.Furthermore,the dissolution rate of quartz particles is also faster,as compared with that with large size of quartz particles.In the meantime,more gas is captured by the glass-forming liquid to form bubbles,which promoted the fining of the glass melts.
