摘  要:为了突破传统RIS框架在应对信道衰落及覆盖空洞等方面的不足,提出MF-RIS这一创新概念,该技术通过集成信号反射、折射和放大等多重功能来提升无线网络性能。从硬件设计和通信模型层面,深入剖析MF-RIS与传统RIS之间的核心差异。针对其多功能集成带来的复杂性,讨论MF-RIS由于硬件限制带来的新问题,包括离散相移、系数耦合等。在实际场景中,考虑到无线通信系统较难获取完美的精确信道状态信息,进一步介绍MF-RIS的信道估计策略和鲁棒波束赋形方法,以应对信道估计误差带来的挑战。此外,还分析静态与动态MF-RIS的调控策略,以及分布式MF-RIS在无线网络中的协同组网与干扰管理方法。最后,给出MF-RIS的应用场景以展示MF-RIS在下一代无线网络中的潜在优势。This paper proposes the innovative concept of multi-functional reconfigurable intelligent surface(MF-RIS).This technology enhances the performance of wireless networks by integrating multiple functions such as signal reflection,refraction,and amplification,thereby breaking through the limitations of traditional RIS frameworks in dealing with channel fading and coverage holes.This paper analyzes the core differences between MF-RIS and traditional RIS from the hardware design and communication model levels.In view of the complexity brought by its multi-functional integration,this paper discusses the new problems brought by MF-RIS due to hardware limitations,including discrete phase shift and coefficient coupling.In practical scenarios,considering that it is difficult for wireless communication systems to obtain perfect and accurate channel state information,this paper further introduces the channel estimation strategy and robust beamforming method of MF-RIS to cope with the challenges brought by channel estimation errors.In addition,this paper also analyzes the regulation strategies of static and dynamic MF-RIS,as well as the cooperative networking and interference management methods of distributed MF-RIS in wireless networks.Finally,several application scenarios of MF-RIS are given to demonstrate the potential advantages of MF-RIS in next-generation wireless networks.
