摘 要:6G应用场景之一的URLLC采用短包结构来传输信息。然而,用于获取准确信道状态信息的导频开销将在短包中占据相对较大的比例。因此重新探索使用差分调制,以减少短包传输中信道估计所带来的信令、功率和带宽开销。具体地,考虑一个采用差分调制的多连接方案来实现短包URLLC并采用选择性合成方案来获得多连接分集增益。进一步使用非渐近信息理论界推导了基于差分调制和多连接方案的短包传输的误块率。仿真结果验证了分析的正确性,并表明在短包传输中,差分调制比常规的基于导频的相干检测方案具有很大优势。As one of use cases in the future 6G wireless networks,ultra-reliable low-latency communications(URLLC)utilizes a short packet structure to transmit information.However,the pilot overhead for acquiring accurate channel state information(CSI)can consume a considerable portion of short packets.In this paper,we re-explore differential modulation in short packet transmission(SPT)to reduce the overhead in signaling,power and bandwidth incurred in the channel estimation processes.Specifically,we consider a multi-connectivity scheme employing differential modulation to enable short packet URLLC.The selection combining scheme is further used to explore the diversity gain in the multi-connection scheme.In addition,we derive the block error rate(BLER)of SPT under multi-connection and differential modulation by employing non-asymptotic information-theoretic bounds.The simulation results verify the analytical accuracy and show that differential modulation offers significant advantages over conventional pilot-assisted coherent detection schemes for SPT.
