摘　　要：侨汇是华侨华人汇给中国国内的亲属的款项,是广大侨眷的合法收入和生活来源。我国著名侨乡海南,规模性接纳侨汇始于第二次鸦片战争之后。1950年海南解放后,这一联系方式逐步强化。改革开放以来,侨汇用途、数量亦发生变化:前者表现为消费性侨汇转向生产性投资,从而带动了农村集镇的建设;后者则是侨汇数量明显减少,至21世纪后已不见于官方记录。基于此,文章重点探讨侨汇在海南地方社会经济发展中的用途、及其功能变化。The inward remittance from overseas is the money remitted by the overseas Chinese to their relatives in China,which is the legal income and source of life for the overseas Chinese family.Hainan,a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in China,began accepting the inward remittances from overseas on a large scale after the Second Opium War.After the liberation of Hainan in 1950,this method of contact gradually strengthened.Since the reform and opening up,the use and quantity of the inward remittances have also changed.The use of inward remittances from overseas shifts from the consumption to the productive invest-ment,which has driven the town construction in the rural areas.The quantity of inward remittances from over-seas obviously decreased,which can not be found in official records after the 21st century.In this regard,the paper mainly discusses the use and function change of inward remittances from overseas in Hainan's economic and social development.
