摘　　要：加强相关基础理论研究是支撑新型研究型大学良性发展的关键。因此,有必要进一步审视新型研究型大学的概念、使命、路径等基本命题。一方面,由于新型研究型大学发展尚未定型,对其属性、特征的评价需要超越“本质主义”与“反本质主义”,秉持开放性原则;另一方面,对新型研究型大学初心与使命的刻画,成为揭示其内涵的关键,其核心是立足“两个大局”,积极回应高等教育“新时代四问”。此外,“一套试卷,两种答案”观点的提出,表明在建设路径问题上,新型研究型大学不仅涵盖“新建”研究型大学的横空出世,同时也包含传统研究型大学的“转型升级”,两种模式并行不悖,各展其长。Strengthening the relevant theoretical research is the key to supporting the healthy development of neotype research universities.Therefore,it is necessary to further examine the basic propositions of the concept,mission,and path of neotype research universities.On the one hand,as the development of neotype research universities has not yet been finalized,the evaluation of their attributes and characteristics needs to go beyond“essentialism”and“anti-essentialism”,and adheres to the principle of openness.On the other hand,the portrayal of the original aspiration and mission of the neotype research university has also become the key to revealing its connotation.Its core is to focus on the“two overall situations”and actively respond to the“four questions”of higher education in the new era;In addition,the proposal of the“one set of papers,two answers”viewpoint indicates that in terms of construction path,the neotype research university not only covers the emergence of neotype research universities,but also includes the“transformation and upgrading”of traditional research-oriented universities.The two modes run in parallel and develop together,each showcasing its advantages.
