摘　　要：荷属东印度群岛华人建立新式组织以实现全面联合的诉求,在20世纪初期变得极具紧迫性,中华商务总会在港口城市及华人聚居地纷纷成立,与荷印华商的生存困境密切相关。华商在荷属东印度面临的身份困境、经济危机和舆论压力促使其迫切寻求清廷保护和自我保护,这为中华商务总会的兴起提供了契机。The urgent need for comprehensive unity among Chinese merchants in the Dutch East Indies at the turn of the twentieth century led to the establishment of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in port cities and Chinese settlements.This development was closely related to the survival challenges faced by Chinese merchants in the Dutch East Indies.The identity crisis,economic crisis,and public opinion pressures confronted by Chinese merchants in the Dutch East Indies prompted them to urgently seek protection from the Qing Dynasty and self-preservation,providing an opportunity for the emergence of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
