摘 要:基于中国近海浮标数据、欧洲中期天气预报中心第五代全球再分析资料ERA5和MetOp-B卫星散射计ASCAT海面风场数据,对HY-2D卫星散射计反演的风场数据在西北太平洋区域的质量进行了检验评估,用以分析其在该区域的适用性。统计结果表明:HY-2D风场数据与中国近海浮标数据、ERA5数据和ASCAT数据均有较好的一致性,3组检验结果的风速均方根误差分别为0.98 m/s、1.23 m/s和0.58 m/s,误差都很好地控制在2 m/s以内;风向均方根误差分别为18.8°、16.8°和12.8°,误差均控制在20°以内;HY-2D风场数据与ASCAT数据有着最好的一致性。对比HY-2D风场数据和中国近海浮标站点风矢量数据,未发现离岸距离和误差之间的明显规律。在HY-2D风场数据与ERA5和ASCAT的对比结果中,近9成数据的风速绝对误差≤2 m/s、风向绝对误差≤20°。由此可见,HY-2D卫星散射计反演的海面风场数据在西北太平洋区域质量较高,能够较好地满足业务化应用的精度要求。Based on the Chinese offshore buoy data,the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF)fifth-generation global reanalysis data(ERA5),and the MetOp-B satellite scatterometer ASCAT sea surface wind field data,the quality of wind field data from the HY-2D satellite scatterometer inversion is evaluated to analyze its applicability in the Northwest Pacific region.The statistical results show that the HY-2D wind field data are in good agreement with the Chinese offshore buoy data,the ERA5 and ASCAT data.The rootmean-square errors of wind speed against the three data sets are 0.98 m/s,1.23 m/s and 0.58 m/s,and those of wind direction are 18.8°,16.8°and 12.8°,respectively.All of which are lower than 2 m/s and 20°.Comparison of wind vector data from the HY-2D and Chinese offshore buoy data does not reveal a clear relationship between offshore distance and the error.Comparison against the ERA5 and ASCAT data shows that the percentage of the data with wind speed absolute error≤2 m/s and wind direction absolute error≤20°is nearly 90%.In summary,the quality of the HY-2D scatterometer sea surface wind field in the Northwest Pacific region is high enough to satisfy the accuracy requirements of operational applications.
