摘　　要：I don't know about you,but I grew up eating matcha-flavored desserts and drinks,and never really gave it much thought.Like many Asian Americans,the first time I was introduced to matcha was as ice cream.It was like a"grown-up flavor"that my mom would always choose and was only available at Asian supermarkets alongside popular Japanese desserts.So I automatically associated matcha with Japan.And while it's extremely popular there,the true origins of matcha green tea are rooted in China.
