摘　　要：“四个伟大”是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想体系的重大理论创新之一,贯穿于马克思主义时代化发展历程之中。探寻历史与理论逻辑是新时代推进“四个伟大”的应有之义。恩格斯晚年在面临世界大变局之际,根据时代变化和特征,丰富了马克思主义未来社会理论,发展了政党建设理论并付诸实践,推动了共产主义事业的进步,捍卫了马克思主义的正确性、纯洁性、科学性,为“四个伟大”理论的提出提供了思想资源。恩格斯晚年的实践启示我们,推进当代中国的“四个伟大”必须坚持以人民为中心的根本理念,坚持走中国特色社会主义道路,将实践作为检验真理的唯一标准。The“Four Greats”is one of the major theoretical innovations of the system of theories of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,it comes from the course of development of Marxism modernization.Exploring historical and theoretical logic is the meaning of advancing the“Four Greats”in the New Era.In Engels’later years,he faced the major changes in the world,according to the changes and characteristics of the times,enriched the Marxist future social theory,developed the theory of party construction and put it into practice,promoted the progress of the communist cause,defended the correctness,purity and science of Marxism,and provided ideological resources for the proposal of the“Four Greats”theory.The practice of Engels in his later years has inspired us that to promote the“Four Greats”of contemporary China,we must adhere to the fundamental people-centered philosophy,adhere to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and take practice as the sole criterion for testing truth.
