王世贞《苏长公外纪》版本源流考

摘　　要：《苏长公外纪》是王世贞编纂的关于苏轼事迹的资料汇编,涵盖其文谈、诗话、行状等,其中所载史料对研究苏轼具有重要价值,且对《百斛明珠》《玉局文》等亡佚之书起到辑佚作用,又能够厘正四库本《说郛》、乾隆三十七年(1772)本《蛩溪诗话》之异文,校勘价值亦不容忽视。万历九年(1581),王世贞曾期望徐孟孺刊梓,实际是否刻梓未可知,但确曾成书,凡十卷,今佚。后经璩之璞、汪廷讷与杨益豫等多次校刊,得广其传。现有十六卷本、十二卷本与十五卷本三个系统,十六卷本删减较多,质量不佳。万历二十三年(1595)燕石斋本为今存最早的十二卷本,由璩之璞于万历二十二年(1594)借得抄本,增删校勘,次年刊行。万历二十四年(1596),汪廷讷覆刻燕石斋本,更“璩之璞校定”为“汪廷讷校定”。崇祯二年(1629),陈之伸以燕石斋本为底本刊入《宋四大家外纪》中,增删调整,成十五卷,虽有正误之功,但内容删减不少。清末杨益豫以汪刻本为底本进行校刊,虽校正燕石斋本,新讹误亦有不少。总体来看,燕石斋本问世较早,且质量最佳,次为清刻本,他本又在清刻本之下。Su Zhanggong Waiji is a compilation of information about Su Shi′s deeds compiled by Wang Shizhen,covering his literary discourse,poetic discourse,and accounts of conduct.The historical materials contained in it have important value for studying Su Shi,and play a role in compiling lost books such as Baihu Mingzhu and Yuju Wen,and can clarifie the differences between the Siku edition Shuofu and the Qianlong 37th year(1772)edition Qiong xi Shihua.The value of collation can not be ignore.In the 9th year of the Wanli reign(1581),Wang Shizhen once expected Xu Mengru to publish this book.Although it is unknown whether it was actually engraved,it was indeed written in ten volumes and is now lost.Later,it was widely circulated through several collations of many people such as Qu Zhipu,Wang Tingne and Yang Yiyu.There are three systems of the sixteen-volume edition,the twelve-volume edition and the fifteen-volume edition.The sixteen-volume edition has been extensively deleted,resulting in poor quality.The Yanshizhai edition in the 23rd year of the Wanli reign(1595)is the earliest surviving twelve-volume edition,it was added,deleted and collated,and published the following year according to the twelve-volume edition′s transcript which was borrowed by Qu Zhipu in the 22nd year of the Wanli reign(1594).In the 24th year of the Wanli reign(1596),Wang Tingne reprinted the Yanshizhai edition,and renamed it"Qu Zhipu revised"as"Wang Tingne revised".In the second year of the Chongzhen reign(1629),Chen Zhishen collated on the basis of the Yanshizhai edition into the Records of the Four Great Masters of the Song Dynasty,and added,deleted and adjusted it into fifteen volumes.Although there were merits in correctness,the content was greatly reduced.In the late Qing Dynasty,Yang Yiyu collated the publication based on Wang Tingne′s block-printed edition.Although Yang Yiyu corrected the Yanshizhai edition,there were also many new errors.Overall,the Yanshizhai edition came out earlier and had the best quality,followed by the Qing Dynas
