从茶庄到票号:晚清山西合盛元票号的诞生  

From a Tea Shop to an Exchange Shop:the Birth of Heshengyuan Exchange Shop in Shanxi during the Late Qing Dynasty

摘　　要：票号作为近代中国民间的传统金融机构,是商品经济发展到一定阶段的产物,是实体商业具备了雄厚的资本和良好的运营制度之后的一个转型结果。这一结果的诞生具有一定的逻辑性和必然性。合盛元票号自创立之时,就已拥有相当可观的资本,并在较长时间内高于山西票号平均资本额,在此基础上,它的分号遍及国内外28处,从中可见其业务经营已比较成熟稳定。从茶庄到票号,不仅是合盛元这一个案的发展路径,也是晚清时期较多山西实体商业发展的基本方向。As a traditional folk financial institution in modern China,the exchange shop is a product of the development of the commodity economy to a certain stage.It is a transformation result of physical commerce with strong capital and a good operating system.The birth of this result has certain logic and inevitability.Since its establishment,Heshengyuan exchange shop had a considerable amount of capital,which was higher than the average capital of Shanxi exchange shops for a long period of time.On this basis,its branches spread to 28 places at home and abroad,indicating that its business operations were relatively mature and stable.Going from a tea shop to an exchange shop was not only the development path of Heshengyuan but also the basic direction of many physical businesses in Shanxi during the late Qing Dynasty.
