摘  要:新的网络空间、图像、媒体和计算机产业构成了全新的媒体文化。面对这种变革,需要将文化视为连续的整体,运用跨学科和多视角的方法进行文化社会学研究。古典社会学理论通过勾勒现代社会中经济、政治、社会和文化之间的关系,超越了学科限制。法兰克福学派在跨学科的基础上,采取多视角的方法研究各种文化现象,发展了早期的文化研究模式。与法兰克福学派相同,英国伯明翰学派在元理论层面将社会理论、文化分析与政治批判相结合,以社会变革为研究导向。英国文化研究拒绝了高雅/低俗的文化区分,克服了法兰克福学派的精英主义,并借由“积极受众”概念,打破法兰克福学派“被动受众”概念的局限。然而,20世纪80年代后文化研究强调消费乐趣、庆祝流行文化,导致对“大众文化”不加批判的赞扬;忽视了高雅文化、现代主义和前卫运动的影响。为此,文化研究和文化社会学需要发展一种多视角的方法,从政治经济学、文本分析、受众研究三个维度对广泛的文化产品加以批评,形成对法兰克福学派、英国文化研究、后现代理论和其他新方法的综合运用。The new cyberspace,images,media,and computer industry constitute a new media culture.Faced with this change,it is necessary to view culture as a continuous entity and apply interdisciplinary and multi-perspective methods to study cultural sociology.Classical sociological theory has transcended the disciplinary boundaries by outlining the relationship among economics,politics,and culture in modern society.Frankfurt School adopted a multi-perspective approach to study various cultural phenomena on the basis of interdisciplinary research,and developed the early models of cultural studies.Same as Frankfurt School,Birmingham School,taking social changes as the research subject,combined the social theory,cultural analysis and political criticism at the meta-theoretical level.British cultural studies rejected the distinction between elegant and vulgar cultures,gave up the elitism of Frankfurt School,and broke through the limit of Frankfurt School's concept of"passive audience"by the concept of active audience".However,the cultural studies after 1980s emphasized on the consumption pleasure and welcomed the popular culture,leading to the uncritical praise of"mass culture"and ignorance of the influences of elegant culture,modernism and avant-garde.Therefore,it is necessary to devise a multi-perspective method for cultural studies and cultural sociology,to criticize the cultural products from three dimensions of political economy,text analysis,and research on audience,and to form a comprehensive application of Frankfurt School,British cultural studies,postmodern theory,and some other new methods.
