摘　　要：小说评点自来无史,其因源于对小说评点史的研究在史料、理论和方法诸方面均未确立其“合法性”,其中之关键是梳理文言小说评点与白话小说评点之关系。小说评点是一种文化现象,包括“文人文化”“商业文化”和“物质文化”,这一特质决定了小说评点的类型组合、价值体系和内涵构成,也制约了小说评点史的著述要素和理论方法。小说评点史著述的路径与方法大致包括:“分类”的小说评点史、“物质”的小说评点史、“大文体”格局下的小说评点史和“西学”视野下的小说评点史。The reason why there hasn’t been any historical writing on fiction commentary is that the research on the history of novel critique has not established its“legitimacy”in terms of historical materials,theories and methods.To solve this problem,determining the relationship between the commentaries on vernacular and classical Chinese fiction is crucial.As a cultural phenomenon,fiction commentary includes“literati culture”,“commercial culture”and“material culture”.These domains determine the type combination,value system,and connotation composition of fiction commentary,as well as the compositional components and theoretical methods to its history.There are some of the methods and approaches which can be used in the historical writing on fiction commentary:(1)sorting and reviewing the history of various categories of fiction commentary;(2)incorporating material culture studies into the history of fiction commentary;(3)conducting the historical research of fiction from the perspective of“extensive genre”and studying the history of fiction commentary from the standpoint of western studies.
