以《奥斯卡与露辛达》为例探究彼得·凯里的女性观

摘　　要：彼得·凯里的《奥斯卡与露辛达》作为小众的澳洲文学,却是一部脍炙人口的小说,其中出现了形形色色的女性形象。文章以小说中七位女性为对象,根据她们的性格和人生境遇,将她们归为三类女性形象,即新女性形象、传统女性形象和第三世界女性形象。这些女性身份不同,个性不一,却无一不受到父权制的禁锢和压制。文章通过研究运用女性主义理论对小说内容进行详细分析,揭示出小说中女性所受到的父权制及其权力体系的压迫以及彼得·凯里的女性观。As a niche work in Australian literature,Peter Carey's Oscar and Lucinda is a popular novel that portrays various female characters.This paper takes seven women in the novel as objects and divides them into three types of female images according to their characteristics and social circumstances,namely,new female image,traditional female image and third-world female image.Although these women have different identities and personalities,they are all imprisoned and suppressed by patriarchy.Feminist theory analyzes the text and reveals the oppression of the patriarchy and the power system represented by the women in the novel,as well as Peter Carey's compassion for oppressed women.
