摘 要:修建城墙需要大量的土方,筑城工程往往伴有壕沟的开挖。泉州古城海拔较低,其城市给排水及城壕体系的建设与唐宋泉州城规划建设有着密切的关系。泉州开元寺和州治的相对位置关系、子城和罗城的规划营建、八卦沟无八卦之象而如是称谓等诸多事例是其规划思想与易学相关联的表象;八卦沟是其城池系统中一个与自然环境不断产生物质交换的动态组成,是泉州古城规划营建中相关中国古代思想文化理论和自然认知、工程技术相结合的展现;泉州城的兴建时间是在佛教传入中国之后,其整体格局的形成则是在理学兴盛之际,体现出了唐宋时期儒、道、佛等共存的知识世界中城市规划营建的思想与实践。The construction period of the city walls required a large amount of earthworks,which were often accompanied by the excavation of water drains and city trenches.With its low elevation,the urban water drainage and the trench system construction were closely related to the planning and construction of Quanzhou City during the Tang and Song dynasties.The relative positions of the temple and the government office complex,the planning of the Zicheng and Luocheng,and the Bagua Ditches,named as such despite lacking the visual representation of eight trigrams,are many examples of its association with the meaning of Yi.The Bagua Ditches is a dynamic component of this urban system that constantly produces material exchange with the natural environment.It is also a demonstration of the combination of ancient Chinese ideological and cultural theories,the cognition of nature,and engineering techniques in the construction of Quanzhou City.Quanzhou City was built after the introduction of Buddhism into China,and its overall pattern was formed during the emergence of Neo-Confucianism,reflecting the thought and practice of urban construction in the intellectual world where Buddhism,Taoism,and Confucianism coexisted during the Tang and Song Dynasties.
