摘　　要：文章从元数据向元宇宙演进的表象切入,通过探析GLAM图像资源的语义描述走向和趋势,提出进一步完善GLAM图像资源语义描述理论体系的对策。从案例入手,将GLAM图像资源的语义描述划分为数字化、数据化、数智化三个阶段,梳理出不同阶段语义描述的重点,并从演进动因、目的、阶段与结果四个方面构建GLAM图像资源语义描述演进理论体系,生成GLAM语义描述螺旋式迭代演进模式,指出演进过程中资源类型、数据形态、描述角度、技术手段、成果展示和目标取向的动态变化。研究发现:当前GLAM语义描述的理论与实践,在指导标准的顶层设计、学科话语体系的确立、实现目标的技术支撑和挖掘未知知识的核心任务上还需拓展。Through a review of the evolution from metadata to metaverse,this article explores the development directions and trends of the semantic description of GLAM image resources,and proposes some strategies to further improve the theoretical framework of GLAM image resource semantic description.Based on some specific cases,it divides the semantic description of GLAM image resources into three phases:digitization,datafication,and digital intelligence.By sorting out the semantic description priorities at each different phase,it establishes a theoretical system for the evolution of GLAM image resource semantic description,focusing on the evolutionary motivation,purpose,phases,and outcomes.Thus,the study develops a spiral iterative evolution model for GLAM semantic description,highlighting the dynamic changes of resource types,data forms,descriptive perspectives,technical means,performance demonstration,and goal orientations in the evolution process.The results suggest that the current theory and practice of GLAM semantic description need to be further extended in terms of top-level design of guidance standards,establishment of a disciplinary discourse system,technical support for goal achievement,and the core task of uncovering unknown knowledge.
