摘 要:高模量碳纤维(HMCF)因经过高温石墨化,表面惰性高,表现出很强的疏水性,不易在水中分散,成为湿法制备碳纤维纸需要克服的瓶颈。为改善HMCF在水中的分散性,采用电泳沉积二维过渡金属碳化物MXene的方法对其进行表面改性,研究了电泳沉积参数、纤维特性对HMCF表面改性效果及其在水中分散性的影响。结果表明,经过MXene表面改性后,HMCF表面的极性官能团数量增加,在水中的分散性得到了一定的改善。MXene沉积4min时BHM3碳纤维在水中的分散情况改善最为显著,对水的接触角从100.7°降至36.2°,达到一级分散水平,沉降时间增加到42min。相同条件下,MXene在HMCF表面的均匀分布能提升纤维在水中的分散性。High modulus carbon fibers(HMCF)show high surface inertness due to the high-temperature graphitization process,presenting strong hydrophobicity and being difficult to be dispersed in water,which has become a bottleneck to overcome in the preparation of carbon fiber paper by wet method.In order to improve the dispersion of HMCF in water,we used electrophoretic deposition of 2D-transition metal carbide MXene to modify the surface of HMCF,and investigated the effects of the electrophoretic deposition parameters and fiber characteristics on the surface modification of HMCF and its dispersion in water.The results demonstrated that after the surface modification by MXene,the number of polar functional groups on the modified HMCF surface increased,and the dispersibility in water was improved.The dispersion of BHM3 carbon fibers in water was improved most significantly when MXene deposition was carried out for 4 min,the contact angle to water decreased from 100.7°to 36.2°,and the settling time increased to 42 min,reaching the dispersion level 1.Under the same conditions,the homogeneous distribution of MXene on HMCF could lead to a better dispersion of HMCF in water.
