厚皮甜瓜新品种荆甜2号的选育

摘　　要：荆甜2号是以自交系01C-13为母本、自交系F25为父本选育而成的中熟杂交1代厚皮甜瓜新品种。湖北春季保护地栽培全生育期105~110 d,果实发育期37~40 d。果实高圆形,果皮白色,偶有细网纹,果肉橙色,单瓜质量1.4 kg左右,667 m^(2)平均产量2 000 kg左右。中心可溶性固形物含量18%左右,边部可溶性固形物含量10%左右,果肉厚3.2 cm左右,果皮厚0.5 cm左右,肉质细脆,口感好。高抗白粉病,抗霜霉病,耐湿性、耐旱性强,适宜湖北省及长江流域保护地栽培。Jingtian No.2 is a new mid-maturing hybrid thick-skinned muskmelon cultivar,which is bred by using inbred line 01C-13 as female parent and inbred line F25 as male parent.The whole growth period of protected cultivation in Hubei in spring is 105-110 d,and the fruit development period is 37-40 d.The fruit is high round-shaped,with white skin and occasionally fine reticulation.The flesh is orange.The single fruit weight is about 1.4 kg.The average yield is about 2000 kg per 667 m^(2).The center soluble solids content is about 18%and the edge soluble solids content is about 10%.It is about 3.2 cm in flesh thickness and about 0.5 cm in peel thickness.The flesh is fine and crisp,and the taste is good.It is highly resistant to powdery mildew and downy mildew,and has strong tolerance to humidity and drought.It is suitable for protected cultivation in Hubei Province and Yangtze River Basin.
