摘　　要：随着人类社会进入21世纪,生命科学正以前所未有的速度向前迈进。以基因工程、干细胞技术和组织工程学为代表的现代生命科学技术正日益成为推动经济与社会可持续发展的重要力量。这些前沿技术都需要大量高质量的实验动物来支撑基础与应用研究工作。因此,建设一个符合国际标准、具有国内先进水平的模式动物研究平台对于推动我国生物医药事业的快速健康发展有着重要意义。本文从实验动物的重要性出发,通过分析模式动物研究中心的运行现状及其存在的问题,阐述了模式动物研究中心的功能定位,结合国内外优秀经验提出相应建议措施,展望未来模式动物研究中心的发展前景。As human society enters the 21st century,life sciences are advancing at an unprecedented pace.Modern life science technologies,such as genetic engineering,stem cell technology,and tissue engineering,are becoming an important force for sustainable economic and social development.These cutting-edge technologies necessitate a substantial supply of high-quality laboratory animals to support both fundamental and applied research endeavors.Therefore,establishing a model animal research platform that conforms to international standards and embodies domestic excellence holds significant importance in propelling the rapid and healthy growth of China′s biomedical industry.This paper begins with an exploration of the importance of laboratory animals,followed by an analysis of the operational status and the problems within model animal research centers.It delineates the functional positioning of these centers,offers corresponding recommended measures informed by domestic and international best practices,and outlines the future prospects for model animal research centers.
