摘  要:This highlight draws inspiration from a recent publication in Science where Zhang and co-workers [1] from Nanjing University of Science and Technology reported a novel multifunctional polyester reverse osmosis(RO) membrane and its application in seawater desalination. This research represents a notable advancement in the field, as polyester membranes may potentially compete with state-of-the-art polyamide RO membranes in the mainstream market.
