摘　　要：The Mongolian ethnic group resides in various parts of China,and thus different regions have distinct wedding customs.These customs characteristics are mainly reflected in their content and symbolic meanings.This paper primarily introduces the wedding custom of the Mongolian ethnic group in Qinghai-the Curtain Removal Ceremony and its symbolic meanings,which include the symbolic meanings of concealment,lifting taboos,abundant blessings and numerous offspring,as well as wishes for the healthy growth of newborns.
