摘　　要：为了节省翻新既有建筑的资金,许多客户都选择在屋顶加建来增加居住空间,这种做法也得到了许多市政当局的欢迎。同样,位于日内瓦湖畔沃韦市、由Rapin Saiz Architectes建筑师事务所设计的翻新项目也沿用了这一成功模式。这座住宅位于市中心附近前工匠区La Valsainte内一个由三部分组成的转角地块上,在建筑师接手前一直没有被翻新,保持着原始状态。Adding residential space by creating a rooftop addition in order to finance the renovation of an existing building-this model has been adopted by many clients and is welcomed by many municipalities.The renovation project designed by Rapin Saiz Architectes in Vevey at Lake Geneva also follows this principle.The three party corner lot house in the former artisan district of La Valsainte near the city centre was far from being renovated before the architects took up the task.Instead of bathrooms meeting contemporary needs,apartments only had small toilets.Gas,wood or oil stoves on each floor served for heating.
