摘　　要：海景木屋加拿大福戈岛面积为250km^(2),岛上居民有2700人,这里的风景映衬着色彩缤纷的木屋。海岸附近还有抬高的渔夫小屋。Kingman Brewster工作室最近为Joe Batt's Arm村设计的住宅楼就受到了这种建筑方法的启发。这座部分抬高的木结构建筑由多个体量组成,面向大海的一侧设置了大面积的玻璃窗,不但视野开阔,还能让日光涌入室内。建筑中还设有传统建筑中常用的小方形窗户。Wooden Housewith Sea View The landscape of the 250 km^(2)Canadian island of Fogo is dotted with the colourful wooden houses of the island’s 2,700 inhabitants.Near the coast there are also elevated fishermen's huts.The residential building recently designed by Kingman Brewster Studio in the village of Joe Batt's Arm is inspired by this construction method.The partially elevated wooden structure is made up of several volumes and opens up to the sea with large glazing that allows daylight to flood inside.It also has smaller square windows as found on the traditional buildings.
