摘　　要：近年来,西部地区发展势头良好,综合实力显著增强,与东部地区和中部地区的发展差距明显缩小,维护国家国土安全、生态安全、能源资源安全的重要功能更加凸显。但是,西部地区还面临科技创新能力不强、产业支撑能力不足等困难和挑战。西部地区在推进中国式现代化的新征程中,要聚焦大保护、大开放、高质量发展主题,坚持把发展特色优势产业作为主攻方向,坚持把大保护放在压倒性地位,坚持以大开放重塑区域发展优势,坚持牢牢守住安全底线,优化形成“两核七极、六区七基地”的高质量发展格局,加快打造“一带双廊四区”的生态安全屏障格局,推动构建“三核七枢纽、三通道多节点”的高水平对外开放格局。通过因地制宜发展新质生产力、筑牢国家生态安全屏障、提高对内对外开放合作水平等不断增强西部地区的整体实力和可持续发展能力,在中国式现代化建设中奋力谱写西部大开发新篇章。In recent years,the development momentum of the western region has been robust,significantly enhancing its comprehensive strength and narrowing the development gap with the eastern and central regions.The important role of safeguarding national homeland security,ecological security,energy and resources security has become more prominent.However,the western region also faces challenges such as limited scientific and technological innovation ability,and insufficient industrial support capacity.In the new endeavor to promote Chinese modernization,the focus of the western region should be on the key themes of robust protection,extensive opening up,and high quality development.The main direction should be the development of distinctive and advantageous industries,with a strong emphasis on robust protection and reshaping regional development advantages through extensive opening up.We will continue to enhance the overall strength and sustainable development capacity of the western region by developing new quality productive forces in light of local conditions,strengthening the national ecological security barrier,and enhancing the level of opening up and cooperation at home and abroad,and strive to write a new chapter in the development of the western region in the course of the Chinese modernization drive.
