近代上海粤乐传播与新型民族音乐发展——以精武体育会粤乐部为中心的考察

摘　　要：奉行“精武主义”的上海精武体育会不仅是一个中国近代史上闻名遐迩的武术社团组织,还是一个传统文化与西方文化交流的重要促进机构。该会开设了众多文化与音乐类课程,其中办学规模与社会影响最大的是粤乐的教学与表演。该会专设的粤乐部,有全职和兼职的粤乐教员及行政工作人员,有固定的粤乐教室与设置于总部及分部的教学点,更有络绎不绝的会内外学习者。在教学基础上,粤乐部又组建乐队,开展粤曲奏唱、粤剧排演、用粤调配乐伴奏“国操”舞蹈等演出,以及开发有西洋乐器加入的粤曲合奏与伴奏形式,还为其演出编印中西乐谱集。该会粤乐由此成为精武会组织发展与外联之名片、上海粤乐之翘楚,更因注入时代因子、都市特质及中西贯通人才的作用,而成为近代上海城市音乐史的重要组成部分,成为近代中国多元音乐形态中一支推动新型民族音乐发展的显要力量。The Shanghai Jingwu Association,renowned for promoting the"Jingwu Spirit",was not only a famous martial arts organization in modern China but also a crucial institution for facilitating cultural exchanges between China and the West.Among the many cultural and musical courses it offered,Cantonese music stood out in terms of scale and societal impact.The Cantonese Music Division boasted full-time and part-time instructors,dedicated staff,classrooms,venues at the headquarters and branches,and a steady stream of students.It even formed a band that performed Cantonese songs,rehearsed Cantonese opera,and performed Cantonese-style music for"the National Dance".The division also pioneered the use of Western instruments for Cantonese music ensembles and accompaniment and published collections of Chinese and Western musical scores for its performances.As a result,the Cantonese Music Division became a hallmark of the Jingwu Association and a major influence on Shanghai's Cantonese music scene.By blending contemporary,urban influences with both Chinese and Western elements,it played a pivotal role in shaping modern Shanghai's music history and contributed to the development of Chinese ethnic music within modern China's diverse musical landscape.
