摘　　要：In Mantel’s Fludd,the ethical dilemma and choices faced by the residents of Featherhoughton in England have been explored.With English Reformation,the townspeople face an ethical dilemma between“maintaining tradition”and“innovating for change”.Driven by the“ghost”Fludd,people choose“innovating for change”,transforming their old beliefs and social order and constructing an ethical utopian world that aligns with the development of the times,resonating with Mantel’s consistent theme of“transformation”.
