摘　　要：While high heels are considered women's wear today,they started out as footwear for men.Their historydates back to around 3500 B.C.in Egypt.Butchers wore high heels to keep their feet out of the animal blood on the floor.Additionally,the upper class wore them for special celebrations.虽然高跟鞋在当今被认为是女性穿的,但一开始其实是男鞋。它们的历史可以追溯到公元前3500年左右的埃及。屠夫穿上高跟鞋以避免双脚踩在地上的动物血液中。此外,上层阶级也会在特殊庆典时穿着高跟鞋。10世纪时,高跟鞋变成马靴出现在中东的骑兵队伍。鞋跟能让骑士的脚固定在马中,帮助骑士在骑马时保持稳定。
