摘　　要：刘索拉《你别无选择》是20世纪80年代极具现代意味的文本。小说对音乐学院一群学生精神观念,尤其是其独立、自由、理想的主体自我认知的书写,表现了“现代”自我的内涵;20世纪80年代已经启动的城市化是小说中的现代的背景;从当时的时代精神也可看出,“现代”意识的追求已经成为一个时代的共识。只有把《你别无选择》放到中国式现代化的历史大背景下,我们对其现代意味的评价才会更趋近文本在文学史、思想史上应有的地位和价值。Liu Suola’s You Have No Choice is a text with a very modern meaning in the 1980s.The novel describes the spiritual concepts of a group of students at the Conservatory of Music,especially the formation of their subjective self,which shows the connotation of the“modern”self;the urbanization that has already begun in the 1980s is the modern background in the novel,from the spirit of the times,it can also be seen that the pursuit of“modern”consciousness has become a consensus of an era.Only by putting You Have No Choice in the historical background of Chinese-type modernization,our understanding of its modern meaning will be closer to the proper position and value that the text should have in the history of literature and thought.
