摘　　要：叶淑媛教授的新著《二十世纪以来民族志小说研究》是国内首部民族志小说研究专著,也是国内第一部民族志小说专题史。该书打通了文学与人类学的范畴,以开阔的学术视野创造性地提出并阐释了民族志小说这一概念,该著从历史维度、族群记忆、认知人类学性质和社会人类学性质四个角度切入,对中国民族志小说进行体系化、立体化研究,搭建了一个具有本土性质的民族志小说研究概念话语体系,对民族志小说的系统性理论建设起到了比较重要的作用。该著研究方法新颖独特,采用了语义分析、比较研究以及纵横分析等研究方法,有效避免了主观定论以及类型混淆,使其表述精确可信。《二十世纪以来民族志小说研究》一书可谓是中国民族志小说本体研究的新突破。Prof.Ye Shuyuan’s new book,Research on Ethnographic Novels since the Twentieth Century,is the first monograph on the study of ethnographic novels in China,as well as the first thematic history of ethnographic novels in China.The book has opened up the scope of literature and anthropology,and creatively put forward and explained the concept of ethnographic novel with an open academic vision.The book starts from four perspectives,namely,historical dimension,community memory,cognitive anthropological nature and social anthropological nature,and conducts systematic and three-dimensional research on Chinese ethnographic novels,and builds up a conceptual discourse system of ethnographic novels with a local nature,which plays a relatively important role in the systematic theoretical construction of ethnographic novels.It builds a conceptual discourse system of ethnographic novels with local characteristics,which plays an important role in the systematic theoretical construction of ethnographic novels.The research method of this book is novel and unique,adopting semantic analysis,comparative research,and longitudinal and horizontal analysis,effectively avoiding subjective definitions and genre confusion,and making its presentation precise and credible.Research on Ethnographic Novels since the Twentieth Century is a breakthrough in the ontological study of Chinese ethnographic novels.
