摘　　要：郑锦怀先生所著《中国图书馆学教育史事编年(1896-1956)》一书学术价值主要体现在:拓展编年方法在图书馆史研究中的应用场域;深化中国图书馆学教育史研究;促进图书馆学知识积累。该书的特点为:视角新颖、史料丰富、索引完备。但是该书也存在一些不足。The academic value of The Chronical History of Chinese Library Education(1896-1956)written by Zheng Jinhuai is reflected in:expanding the application field of chronology methods in the library history,deepening the study of Chinese library education history and promoting the accumulation of library science knowledge.The characteristics of this book are new perspective,rich historical materials,and various index system.However,the book review also points out the shortcomings of Zheng’s book.
