摘　　要：连通度在衡量并行计算机系统在顶点失效情况下的容错能力方面起着重要的作用。额外连通度是度量互连网络的容错能力的重要指标之一。作为一类多处理器系统的互连网络,轮网络有许多好的性质。通过对轮网络容错能力的研究,得到了n-维轮网络的3-额外连通度的精确值,为高可靠并行计算机的互连网络的设计提供了有价值的参考。Connectivity plays a significant role in measuring the fault tolerance of parallel computer systems under the circumstances of vertices failures.Extra connectivity is one of the important indicators to measure the faulttolerant ability of an interconnection network.As an interconnection network of a class of multiprocessor systems,wheel network has many good properties.Through the study of the fault-tolerant ability of the wheel network,the exact value of the 3-extra connectivity of the n-dimensional wheel network is obtained,which provides a valuable reference for the design of the interconnection network of the highly reliable parallel computer.
