摘　　要：In late1978,the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Communist Party of China(CPC)Central Commitce markeda turning pointat which China embarked on a.new journey of reform and openingup.Akey policy changing the fate of contemporary China,the reform andopening up greatly motivated the enthusiasm and vitaliry of the Chinese people.It enabied China to shif from a highily centralized planned economic system to a vigorous socialist market economic system.Since then,China has walked a uniqueroad to modernization.
