摘　　要：As a headlining dancer for the National Ballet of China throughout the1980s and 1990s,Feng Ying is known for iconic roles suchas the White Swan and the Black Swanin Swan Lake and the titlerole of Giselle.When she becamedirector of the National Ballet of China in 2009,the troupe embarked ona new developmentpath of in novativeinteg ration of classics and modernity as well as of national and in ternational styles.Thanks to her efforts,Chinese ballet has gradually gone global.
