摘　　要：Hypercalcemic crises as a result of milk-alkali syndrome(MAS)are an uncommon cause of altered mental status and acute renal failure in the emergency department.Although it is uncommonly reported in the emergency medicine literature,emergency physicians should be aware of this syndrome due to significant morbidity and mortality if left undiagnosed.
