摘　　要：意大利籍耶稣会神父罗明坚被认为是中国天主教事业的先驱,是中西文化互鉴的代表人物之一。藏在罗马耶稣会档案馆的一首佚名拉丁文诗歌,记载了罗明坚从罗马前往中国传教的事迹,是最早的耶稣会士史诗之一。本论文通过对相关文献的梳理,对该诗作了初步研究:首先,考察该诗与耶稣会档案馆所藏罗明坚的《传教报告》之间的关系及其创作时间;其次,分析该诗的内容,并指出其与维吉尔史诗之间的关系;再次,讨论该诗所依据的历史文献及可能的作者;最后,笔者讨论了该诗产生的历史背景,以及它在中西文化交流中的意义。Italian Jesuit Michele Ruggieri is widely recognized as a pioneering figure among missionaries to China,playing a pivotal role in fostering communication between China and the West.An anonymous Latin poem preserved in the Archivum Romanum Societatis Iesu provides a third-person account of Father Ruggieri’s missionary expedition to China,narrating his efforts to introduce Catholicism to the country.This study focuses on the text and the contextual aspects of the poem as one of the earliest Jesuit epics.Firstly,it provides essential information about the poem’s correlation with Ruggieri’s Mission Reports and the presupposed time of its composition.Secondly,the study analyzes the poem’s contents,with emphasis on its connection to Virgilian poetry.Thirdly,the analysis extends to considerations of the original historical documents according to which the poem was composed and tried to find out who was its possible author.Lastly,the paper discusses the historical context in which the Jesuit epic was produced and its significance in the Sino-Western cultural exchange.
