摘　　要：新民社郑正秋邀请包天笑将小说《空谷兰》改编为文明戏,该戏在讲述本土化家庭故事的同时,将民族观念与国家理想巧妙地编织进戏剧的情节发展之中,通过新民社全体演员认真而自然的舞台表演呈现出一场独特的集家庭、军事、教育、社会为一体的文明戏,以期满足不同阶层观众的多元需求,进而引起观众的共鸣,使得该戏成为民国时期各大剧社争相上演的经典剧目,为民族共同体的认同起到了积极的推动作用。The troupe called Xinminshe invited Bao Tianxiao to adapt the novel Konggulan into a civilized drama.While telling an authentic Chinese family drama,the drama subtly weaves the national concept and national ideals in-to the plot development of the drama.Through the serious and natural stage performances of all the actors of Xinmin-she,a unique civilized drama integrating family,military,education,and society is presented,in order to meet the diverse needs of audiences of different classes.And then it resonated with the audience,making the troupe a classic repertoire staged by major theater companies during the Republic of China.So the drama played a positive role in pro-moting the identity of the national community.
