摘  要:The tms5 mutation exists in most current thermo-sensitive genic male sterility lines,which are essential in hybrid rice production.The Cao group has made an exciting new discovery:TMS5,as a phosphatase,removes 2′,3′-cyclic phosphate(cP)from cP-ΔCCA-tRNAs,enabling efficient tRNA repair.
