摘　　要：郁松年在先世积累殷实家财的基础上,不遗余力购书、藏书。顶峰之时,汇聚了全国私家藏书之精华,总计数十万卷,并手自校雠,刻成《宜稼堂丛书》,成为咸同年间首屈一指的藏书大家。太平天国兵燹造成江南私家藏书大量散出,郁松年承接了江南各家散出藏书,保护了诸多珍贵的古籍,亦进一步实现了郁氏家族向“儒商”角色的转变。郁氏藏书既沿袭了前人“好古求宋”的藏书观念,又受到“经世致用”思想的影响,所藏之书,既有宋元珍本,亦有大批实用书籍,还有不少西方自然科学相关书籍,带上了明显的时代烙印。郁氏乐善好施、惜才重教,不仅乐于出借、刊刻流通,且将藏书投于当地教育之中。郁松年身后,其藏书又成就了陆心源、丁日昌等藏书大家。尽管郁氏宜稼堂藏书持续时间不长,但却在清咸同年间江南的私家藏书传承中发挥了承上启下的关键作用。Yu Songnian spared no effort to collect books,especially precious ancient books of the Song Dynasty and the Yuan Dynasty after he obtained great wealth from the business.At the peak,he gathered the essence of private collections from all over China in Shanghai,totaling more than 100,000 volumes.In addition,he also collated these books and compiled them into the Yi Jia Tang Series accordingly became a supreme bibliophile during the period from Xianfeng emperor to Tongzhi emperor.The Taiping War caused a great disaster in the history of private book collecting in China.At that time,Yu Songnian re-collected various missed books from other collectors in Jiangnan area,preserving many valuable ancient books and further transforming his family to the role of“Confucian merchant”.Yu Songnian’s collections not only inherited the idea of“only pursuing books published in the Song Dynasty”from his predecessors,but also were influenced by the idea that“learning should be for practice”,he collected not only rare books published in the Song and Yuan Dynasties,but also a large number of practical books,as well as many natural science books published by the West world,with a distinct brand of the times.Yu was keen on charity and valued talents and education.He not only generously lent and engraved books for circulation,but also invested his personal collections in local education.After his death,his collection of books became the source of such great book collectors as Lu Xinyuan and Ding Richang.It can be said that Yu Songnian played a key role in the history of private book collecting in China.
