摘　　要：The publication of the Geologic Map Series of the Moon(including Map Quadrangles of the Geologic Atlas of the Moon&Geologic Atlas of the Lunar Globe)was supported by the National Publication Foundation(China),and was selected as part of the“13th Five-Year”National Key Publications Publishing Planning Project.The Geologic Map Series of the Moon was completed based on scientific exploration data from China’s Chang’e Project and other existing lunar geological information and research achievements.Within this mapping project,the“Three Eons and Six Periods”of the lunar time scale based on the geological evolution history of the Moon was first proposed,expressing 14 types of structure that are formed by endogenic or exogenic processes,17 types of lithology that are formed by endogenic processes,and 11 types of crater materials or formations.In addition,the technical requirements and standards for the compilation of geologic maps of the Moon were systematically formulated with independent intellectual property rights.
