摘  要:African horse sickness(AHS)is an acute and fatal vectorborne infectious disease of equids,caused by the African horse sickness virus(AHSV).The World Organization for Animal Health(WOAH)has classified AHS as a notifiable animal disease,and AHS has also been classified as a Class I animal infectious disease in China.AHS is mainly found in Africa,the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula.China is currently recognized by the WOAH as an AHS-free zone.
