摘 要:目前已知的《大唐西域记》序文有三种。第一种是敬播序,可能写于永徽年间。第二篇是于志宁序。高宗显庆元年高宗向于志宁等人下敕曰:“玄奘所翻经、论,既新翻译,文义须精……时为看阅,有不稳便处,即随事润色。”此“玄奘所翻经、论”中亦包括《西域记》。目前日本古写本等古老的文本均继承此时的修订文本,但于志宁序在唐代并没有被广泛使用,只有敬播序流传下来。日本古写本、敦煌遗书和唐五代时期传世文献都证实了这一点。于志宁作序的《西域记》远流南方,并被福州版藏经采用,与后来的刊本藏经一起流传至今。另据了解,在唐代,玄奘本人的序文(现收录于《西域记》卷1正文中)曾与敬播的序文一起作为独立的序文冠于卷首,但很早就被纳入卷1正文中。It is known that there are two prefaces to Datang Xiyuji大唐西域记,namely those by Jing Bo敬播and Yu Zhining于志宁.The text produced during the Tang Dynasty widely used Jing Bo’s preface.Yu Zhining’s preface was probably written after the editing work in the first year of the Xianqing显庆era(656),but it was not popular during the Tang Dynasty,and it has been passed down to the present day because it was adopted in the printed Buddhist canon produced in the south of China,starting with the Fuzhou福州version,after the Song dynasty.In addition,in all the texts in circulation today,a text that appears to be the preface by Xuanzang玄奘is inserted at the beginning of the Volume I,and there are traces that this preface by Xuanzang was carried out independently of the main text in the Tang Dynasty,but it took on its current form early on.In this essay,many of the discussions use the Japanese ancient manuscripts of Datang Xiyuji.
