摘　　要：唐義淨所著《大唐西域求法高僧傳》一書中,提到“上作人頭”一語,一直未得到確解。論文考察相關材料,提出“人頭”應爲“平頭”的觀點。“平頭”指齊平的屋頂。論文分析了“平頭”誤寫爲“人頭”的原因。“上作人頭”in The Biographies of Prominent Monks Searching for the Dharma in the West During the Great Tang written by Yijing in Tang Dynasty has not been clarified.The paper examines the relevant materials and proposes that Rentou(人頭)should be Pingtou(平頭).Pingtou(平頭)refers to a flush roof.The paper also analyzes the reason why Pingtou(平頭)is mistakenly written as Rentou(人頭).
