摘  要:詹事讲是明代督学成就较为突出的提学官之一,在任期短暂、职位调动频繁的直隶提学官员中殊为难得。他在督学态度上积极勤勉,曾抱病考校各地生员;他爱惜人才,在优化贡生选拔方面积极建言;他重视人才选拔,公正严明而常恐遗珠之憾;他爱护生徒、不畏权贵,深受学生爱戴。在教学方法上,詹氏以阳明心学江右学派的修身功夫教导诸生,作文要求以诚信为先。状元朱之藩、榜眼汤宾尹、解元周应秋先后得其拔擢,显示其善于鉴别人才的过人之处。时人“名御史、真文宗”的崇高评价,肯定了詹事讲督学南直隶的积极贡献。Zhan Shijiang was one of the most accomplished education supervisors of the Ming Dynasty,known for his exceptional achievements among the frequently rotated and short-tenured educational supervisors in Zhili.His diligent and conscientious approach saw him persist in evaluating students across regions,even when ill.Zhan advocated for optimizing the selection process for tribute students,showing a strong commitment to identifying and fostering talent.Known for his fairness and concern for missed opportunities,he gained students respect by caring for their well-being and standing up to authority.In his educational methods,Zhan integrated the self-cultivation practices of the Jiangyou School of Wang Yangming s philosophy,prioritizing honesty in writing.He identified and promoted notable talents,such as Zhu Zhifan,the Number One Scholar,Tang Binyin,the Second Place Scholar,and Zhou Yingqiu,the top scorer in the provincial exams.Zhan Shijiang s contributions to educational supervision in Southern Zhili were highly regarded,earning him the esteemed reputation of a“Renowned Imperial Censor”and“True Cultural Luminary”among his contemporaries.
