Objective:To study the application value of susceptibility-weighted imaging(SWI)in predicting the recanalization effect of intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods:Sixty patients with acute cerebral infarction who received intravenous thrombolysis at our hospital between March 2020 and June 2024 were selected and divided into two groups:the positive group and the negative group, with 30 cases in each. The recanalization rate, clinical symptom improvement, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups based on SWI scan results. Results:The recanalization rate in the positive group was 86.7%,significantly higher than the 50.0%in the negative group(P<0.05).The rate of significant clinical symptom improvement in the positive group was 80.0%,higher than the 40.0%in the negative group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the positive group was 13.3%,lower than the 40.0%in the negative group(P<0.05).Conclusion:SWI has significant clinical value in predicting the effectiveness of intravenous thrombolysis in patients with acute cerebral infarction,as it improves the recanalization rate, enhances patient prognosis, and reduces complications, making it highly valuable for clinical promotion.
