摘　　要：雅林使命是联合国特别代表雅林在第三次中东战争后为和平解决以色列与其阿拉伯邻国之间的冲突所作的努力。根据联合国安理会242号决议,瑞典外交官贡纳尔·雅林被任命为联合国处理阿拉伯以色列冲突的特别代表。在三年多的时间里,雅林在埃及、约旦、以色列三个国家的代表之间频繁斡旋,提出了多个解决方案,但因双方态度难以调和等原因,雅林使命以失败告终。联合国调解阿以冲突的活动由此终结,随后走上了美国主导中东和平进程的道路。The Jarring Mission was an effort of UN Special Representative Jarring to peacefully resolve the conflict between Israel and its Arab neighbors after the June War.In accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 242,Swedish diplomat Gunnar Jarring had been appointed as the UN Special Representative for the Arab-Israeli conflict.In more than three years,Jarring frequently mediated among the representatives of Egypt,Jordan and Israel,and proposed a number of solutions.However,due to the irreconcilable attitude of the two sides and other factors,the Jarring mission ended in failure.This led to the end of UN mediation in the Arab-Israeli conflict and then came the US-led Middle East peace process.
