摘  要:基于电网换相换流器的常规直流输电技术是远距离大容量输电的首选方案,但其换相失败问题严重威胁直流多落点电网安全稳定运行。由于晶闸管固有的半控特性,已有方法难以显著降低换相失败风险。文章提出一种新型的基于集成门极换流可关断晶闸管(integrated gate commutated thyristor,IGCT)的混合换相换流器,实现具有主动换流特点的新型换流原理,有效抵御换相失败,提升多直流馈入电网的安全稳定水平。该文在换相失败机理分析的基础上,提出了新型IGCT直流混合换相换流器的拓扑结构、核心器件机理分析,提出了相对应的抵御换相失败的新型换流开关一体化工作方式,并最终,在PSCAD/EMTDC电磁暂态仿真中验证了换流机理,搭建了20 kV级样机并通过实验验证了所提出混合换相换流器的有效性和正确性。Line commutated converter based high voltage direct current transmission technology is the top priority for long-distance and large-capacity power transmission.However,commutation failure is one of the most important factors threatening the safe and stable operation of multi-infeed DC grid.Due to the inherent semi-controlled characteristics of thyristors,the existing methods are difficult to significantly reduce the risk of commutation failure.Therefore,the paper proposes a novel hybrid commutated converter based on integrated gate commutated thyristor.The converter is able to realize a new commutation principle with active commutation characteristics.It is believed to mitigate commutation failure effectively and can improve the safe operation level of multi-infeed DC systems.Based on the analysis of commutation failure mechanism,this paper proposes the new IGCT hybrid commutated converter’s topology structure and high-power device mechanism analysis,and proposes the corresponding new operation mode,which is characterized by commutation and switching integration to mitigate commutation failure.Finally,the hybrid commutated converter is verified in PSCAD/EMTDC electromagnetic transient simulation.A 20 kV-level experimental prototype is built,and the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed converter are verified through the experiments.
