摘 要:电火花加工(electric discharge machining,EDM)过程中,极间间隙内介质状态由清澈的煤油转变为带有加工屑和气泡的煤油。加工屑和气泡对放电点分布产生重要影响,进而影响加工效率和质量。为揭示极间介质状态对放电点分布的影响,利用透明材料搭建了电火花放电装置,并在极间间隙内定量放入不同浓度的加工屑和不同体积分数的气泡,观察单脉冲和连续脉冲放电过程中放电点的分布情况。研究结果能够为控制电火花加工工艺条件、维持良好极间介质状态、提高电火花加工效率和质量提供理论依据。During the electric discharge machining(EDM)process,the state of the medium in the gap between the poles changes from clear paraffin to paraffin with processing chips and bubbles.The distribution of discharge points is significantly affected by the debris and bubbles,consequently impacts the machining efficiency and quality.In order to reveal the influence of the inter-polar medium state on the distribution of discharge points,an EDM device is constructed by transparent materials,and different concentrations of debris and different volume fractions of air bubbles are placed quantitatively in the inter-polar gap,so as to observe the distribution of discharge points during single-pulse and continuouspulse discharging processes.The results of the study can provide a theoretical basis for controlling the EDM process conditions and maintaining a good state of the inter-polar medium,so as to improve the efficiency and quality of EDM.
