摘　　要：[目的/意义]20世纪20年代,享誉东南教育界的著名学者柳诒徵,专任当年被冷落于南京龙蟠里的国学图书馆馆长,是其人生道路上的一次主动抉择。[方法/过程]本文通过回望其在十余年间的坚执努力,总结柳诒徵先生的办馆业绩。[结果/结论]柳诒徵先生的主要业绩在于订立各种规章制度,便利读者到馆阅抄;亲笔撰写馆史专著,精心编印年度馆刊;聘任文科专业人才,编纂馆藏图书总目;努力影印馆藏珍籍,慷慨流通古书善本,以及在日寇侵华战争前隐蔽移藏馆藏善本珍籍,战后及时收复流散文献等等,实系20世纪上叶不可多得的图书馆事业名家。最后还揭橥了其为浙江省立图书馆、上海图书馆及其家乡镇江绍宗藏书楼建设所曾发挥的重要作用。[Purpose/significance]In the 1920s,Mr.Liu Yizheng,a renowned scholar in the southeastern educational circle,took up the position of librarian at the Guoxue Library in Longpanli,Nanjing,which was then neglected.This was a proactive choice in his life journey.[Method/process]This study looks back on his persistent efforts over more than a decade and summarizes Mr.Liu Yizheng’s achievements in running the library.[Result/conclusion]Mr.Liu Yizheng’s main achievements include establishing various rules and regulations to facilitate readers’visits and copying;personally writing monographs on the library’s history and meticulously editing and printing annual publications;appointing professionals in liberal arts to compile the general catalogue of the library’s collection;striving to photocopy rare books in the collection and generously circulating ancient and rare editions;as well as secretly transferring and hiding the rare and precious books in the collection before Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and promptly recovering scattered documents after the war.He was indeed a rare figure in the library science field in the early 20th century.Finally,the study also reveals his significant role in the construction of the Zhejiang Provincial Library,the Shanghai Library,and the Shaozong Private Library in his hometown of Zhenjiang.
